Description

A LITTLE NEW YORK IN AMSTERDAM! LOVELY BRIGHT 90 M2 (GFA 110 M2) PENTHOUSE LOCATED ON THE 7TH AND 8TH FLOOR OF THIS ARCHITECTURAL MASTERPIECE THE DANISH ARCHITECT TAGE LYNEBORG. THE HOME HAS TWO BEDROOMS, A BALCONY, A ROOF TERRACE, A LARGE COMMON ROOM AND A PRIVATE STORAGE ROOM IN THE BASEMENT. ALL THIS IS SITUATED BY BEAUTIFUL SAILING WATER NEAR ARTIS AND THE DAPPERMARKT.

This penthouse is located in one of the six detached towers, designed in 1992 by 6 foreign architects. The home is characterised by the distinctive architecture such as triangular windows in the Amsterdam School style and features from the shipbuilding industry such as the typical round ship doors and the loft which protrudes like a bow over the lower floor.

The apartment is on leasehold land with a PERPETUAL redemption! The Owners' Association of the building "TAGE LYNEBORG" is an active association, whose administration is managed by VvE Beheer Amsterdam. The service costs are € 312.41 per month for the home and € 7.90 per month for the storage space.

LAYOUT
Through the communal entrance you can take the lift (or stairs) to the 7th floor.
Upon entering, the playful layout of the home is immediately visible as the round wall with the oval ship doors behind which the bathroom and a closet with the boiler and washing machine connection is located. The original layout has been changed by the previous owner, so that the living room and a bedroom can now be found on this floor.

The bedroom is located at the rear, has a large closet wall and has a spectacular view over Amsterdam thanks to the large window from floor to ceiling. The bedroom is adjacent to the balcony, oriented to the northwest.

The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, sink and toilet and has a granite floor.

From the sitting room, the open staircase leads to the upper loft/floor. This is where the kitchen, the terrace and the storage room in the common room are found. Because of the large windows, this room is very bright and offers a beautiful view.

The kitchen was designed by Luc Schumacher at the time and is, as it were, retracted into the existing niche. Folding tops can enlarge the countertop and behind the cabinet doors there are drawers that can be utilised from front to back. Deep drawers are also hidden behind the baseboards for extra storage. The kitchen provides access to the sun terrace, oriented to the northwest with beautiful sunsets all year round.

The four apartments with the living room/kitchen on the eighth floor also have access to a shared "winter garden". The corresponding storage is located in the basement of the adjacent Carré block.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY
The home is situated in a fun location in the centre of Amsterdam. The building borders a public garden on one side, and the water on the other. On the water side, is plenty of room to sit in the sun and you can also moor a boat. The building has a friendly and nice atmosphere, especially because many people have lived there for a while. The cosy Oosterpark is just a 5-minute walk away. Artis, the Tropenmuseum, various shops, the lively Dappermarkt, Brouwerij 't IJ and Brouwerij Homeland are all within easy reach. Many restaurants and cafes are around the corner, such as Bar Restaurant Pompstation, Happyhappyjoy, Biertuin and Bar Basquiat. For your daily shopping you can go to some nearby supermarkets. The Central Station and the Muiderpoort station are easily accessible, as are the arterial roads to the A10, A1 and A2. Nearby are the stops of tram lines 7, 14 and 19 and bus 22, which gets you to Central Station within a few minutes. Muiderpoort Station is 5 minutes away by bike.

PARKING
On public roads there is paid parking (Mon-Sat 09.00 to 24.00, Sun. from 12.00 to 24.00) and parking by means of a permit system. According to information from the website of the municipality of Amsterdam, there is a waiting list for a parking permit (waiting list data as of 2 November 2021, permit area Centre 3). Rate for first occupant permit: € 283.74 per 6 months, rate for second occupant permit: € 709.35 per 6 months. Under the adjacent building is also a parking garage where parking spaces are offered for rent.
